Adding an extra bunk

Our Jayco x213 originally came with two bunks and we were one short so I had to go modify the setup to put in one more.

After carefully measuring, I raised the bottom bunk so that it would sit higher thus allowing for a third mattress to be installed underneath.

I left all of the original supports at the bottom in case I need to revert back to the original configuration one day, but other then this, it was fairly simple. All I needed to do was to install a 2x2  rail on both sides to keep the bunk platform at the height I wanted it.

When done, I installed a light fixture for the bottom bunk. All three now have a bunk and a light, and they enjoy it.
